TEENS
ON FIRE FOR THE LORD
Crossfire
Youth Ministry
Mission:
The CrossFire Youth Ministry seeks to raise up young people, grades
6-12, to be fully functioning and spiritually mature disciples
of Christ who choose to “own their own faith” through
the following means:
Sunday
Morning Bible Classes
Weekly Bible classes designed to show teens the relevance of God’s
Word to their lives.
“CrossFire”
Life Group
Weekly Life Group featuring a time of worship, life application
study, and fellowship. Great for spiritual development and outreach!
Devotionals,
Concerts, Seminars
Special times of praise, prayer, and spiritual growth
Service
Projects
Regular opportunities to serve others by meeting their special
needs (i.e.,Dry Bones – serving and working with homeless
teens in Denver, painting, house cleaning, child care, yard work,
etc.)
Spiritual
Mentoring
Seeks to provide every teen at least one adult spiritual mentor
in addition to their parents. Older teens also mentor younger
teens and assist with children’s classes and activities.
Social
Activities
Fun times of fellowship and relational growth are scheduled throughout
the summer (i.e., camping, bowling, ski trips, parties, volleyball/softball,
fun night Fridays, etc.). A fun activity is planned almost every
Friday night. These times are geared toward reaching out to non-Christian
teens.
Mission
Trips
Outreach trips both within and outside the country to build houses,
conduct Vacation Bible Schools, help with community outreach,
etc. This summer a group of our teens will be working with a Christian
orphanage, the “House of Hope,” in Mexico.
